...that Communities In Schools Dallas Region’s 2008 Angel Tree Program will provide presents for nearly 1,000 bright but underachieving children?
Communities In Schools Dallas Region, Inc. (CISDR) is sponsoring an Angel Tree Program, which runs until December 7. This program makes sure that our neediest children have warm clothing and gifts this holiday season. With the help of Hasbro, Pizza Hut, Highland Park Middle School, the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas and individual supporters like you, we will be able to reach nearly 1,000 needy students in the Dallas region. To learn more about
this exciting initiative, contact LaShonda Barnett at 214-827-0955 ext. 231 or lashondab@cisdallas.org.
As your buy your groceries for the holiday feast, remember that you can help CISDR simply by shopping at Kroger or Tom Thumb. Just click one of the logos on the right, print out the form, and take it on your next shopping trip. After a one-time enrollment, the grocery store will contribute a percentage of every purchase you make to Communities In Schools Dallas Region.
In the past 23 years, CISDR has helped over 420,000 at-risk students. For just $500 a year, or $250 a semester, you can help a bright but underachieving student to stay in school, achieve academically and graduate to become a productive and contributing member of the community.
