...that thanks to you, Azra has made the honor roll?
Since 1985, Communities In Schools Dallas Region, Inc. (CISDR) has provided year-round, on-campus academic and social support services to more than 420,000 children in Dallas, Collin, Ellis, Hunt and Johnson counties. Our staff of dedicated professionals are experts in providing comprehensive case-managed services and bringing community resources into schools to help at-risk students at an annual cost of $500 per child.
Your contributions have helped students like Azra, a second grader at one of our partner elementary schools. Living with her grandparents and a mother who is barely more than a child herself, she is just one of the many bright but underachieving students that CISDR has set on the road to success. In the picture, Azra is shown proudly accepting her Honor Roll Certificate. Using our unique one-on-one case management service model, CISDR campus professionals helped restore her confidence and realize her academic potential, ensuring that someone cares.
