...that with your help, Azra and students like her can stay on the path to graduation?
Azra, a second grader at one of our partner elementary schools, lives with her grandparents and a mother who is barely more than a child herself. She is just one of the many bright but underachieving students that CISDR has set on the road to success. In the picture, Azra is shown proudly accepting her Honor Roll Certificate. Using our unique one-on-one case management service model, CISDR campus professionals helped restore her confidence and realize her academic potential, ensuring that someone cares.
Since 1985, CISDR has provided year-round, on-campus academic and social support services to thousands of students like Azra. With programs at 60 schools in Dallas, Collin, Ellis, Hunt and Johnson counties, CISDR puts students on the path to graduation. Of the 10,085 students that we served in the 2007-08 school year, 97 percent stayed in school, 89 percent improved their academics, and 95 percent of eligible seniors graduated.
