CISDR Results for 2008-2009
CISDR works with bright, but underachieving students, with the goal of unlocking their academic potential. Using the one to one, case management service model, we restore a student’s confidence not only in themselves, but in the fact that someone cares. We are in 74 schools, in ten school districts, in six counties and since 1985 CISDR has provided individualized case management to more than 112,000 at-risk children. In 2008-09 CISDR case managed over 11,078 students. The results, verified by the Texas Education Agency are, once again, compelling and convincing. Of those 11,078 case-managed students:
- 98% stayed in school
- 92% improved in academics, behavior and/or attendance, and
- 91% of eligible seniors graduated.
