CISDR Results for 2010-2011
CISDR works with capable, but underachieving students, with the goal of unlocking their academic potential. Using the one to one, case management service model, we restore a student’s confidence not only in themselves, but in the fact that someone cares. We are in 59 schools, in twelve school districts, in five counties and since 1985 CISDR has provided individualized case management to more than 136,398 at-risk children. In 2010-11 CISDR case managed 12,148 students. The results, verified by the Texas Education Agency are, once again, compelling and convincing. Of those 12,148 case-managed students:
- 99% stayed in school
- 95% improved in academics, behavior and/or attendance, and
- 93% of eligible seniors graduated.
66 campus sites in 12 school districts:
- 27 elementary schools
- 19 middle schools
- 17 high schools
- 3 charter schools
Total case managed: 12,148
One time services: 55,754
Volunteers: 1,249
