Did You Know…

…that that every time you shop at Kroger and use your enrolled KrogerPlus Card, Kroger will contribute a percentage of your eligible purchases to Communities In Schools Dallas Region?
Communities In Schools Dallas Region, Inc. (CISDR) is now a part of the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Program. Simply print out the barcode below and take it to your neighborhood Kroger along with your KrogerPlus Card. Once the cashier scans the barcode, Kroger will donate a percentage of your purchase to CISDR every time you use your card.
Kroger’s Neighbor to Neighbor Program will help students like Martin (pictured on the right). Martin has been in the CISDR program for 3 years. He was recommended to our program because of gang activity. CISDR staff developed a strong relationship with the student through one-on-one sessions, anger management and Life Skills classes. By Martin’s senior year, we were discussing and focusing on which college to attend. CISDR took him and several other students on a field trip to El Centro College, where he is now attending.
CISDR serves 60 schools in Dallas, Collin, Ellis, Hunt and Johnson Counties. To learn more about ways that you can help students like Martin, visit us online at www.cisdallas.org.
